Hi, I’m Chrissie—the hands and heart behind Cozy Crumb.
What started as a simple love for baking quickly turned into something more. I found myself drawn to the process—the testing, the tweaking, the excitement of pulling a tray from the oven and wondering, “Is this the one?”
Cozy Crumb was built on that feeling. Every cookie you see has gone through countless small adjustments, all with one goal in mind: creating that perfect balance of soft, thick, and comfort. The kind of cookie that makes you pause for a second and just enjoy it.
Outside of the kitchen, I’m also the owner of Chewie’s Pawsibilities, an in-home pet grooming business. Caring for others—whether it’s people or their pets—has always been at the center of what I do. Cozy Crumb is simply another way I get to share that care, this time through baking.
Right now, everything is made in small batches from my home kitchen under Michigan’s Cottage Food Law, with plans to grow into a storefront bakery in the future.
Until then, every cookie is made with intention, a little bit of curiosity, and a whole lot of heart.
Because sometimes the simplest things — like a really good cookie — can make a day a little sweeter.
